Willow Smith - Whip My Hair




Willow Smith (born October 31, 2000, Los Angeles, United States) is the daughter of Will and Jada Pinkett Smith. Her elder brother is a fellow child actor Jaden Smith, and paternal half-brother to Trey Smith. She along with her brothers’ are youth ambassadors for project Zambia in conjunction with the Hasbro corporation-which helps children orphaned by AIDS in Africa. According to the Whip My Hair Songfacts, Willow already has dipped her toes in the entertainment industry having made her acting debut at the age of 6, starring alongside her father in 2007’s lI Am Legend . Her credits also include voice-over work for the animated feature Madagascar 2.


2010-present: “Whip My Hair” and debut album.
In June 2010, Smith’s mother Jada Pinkett Smith announced in an interview on Lopez Tonight that Smith would be releasing an album. Her first single, “Whip My Hair” leaked on September 7, 2010. She is now signed with Jay-Z’s label, Roc Nation. Her music career is heavily influenced by pop megastar and icon Rihanna, as she stated that she worships the barbadian goddess and that she’s her major idol.

Smith presented an award at the Kid’s Choice Awards. She made her acting debut in I Am Legend alongside her father. Her next film, Kit Kittredge: An American Girl, was released on July 2, 2008. In June of 2010 her mother Jada Pinkett Smith said interview on Lopez Tonight that Smith’s having an album come out.
